G1 и G2 — The first GPU-miners from Bitmain based on video cards from AMD and NVIDIA.
The first model called G1 consists of eight video accelerators GeForce GTX 1060. Another model G2 has “under the hood” 8 video card Radeon RX570. It is also noteworthy that the new miners are represented only on the Chinese version of the Bitmain site. This suggests that, perhaps, new devices will be sold only in the domestic market.
The site does not have information about power supplies for miners, and also whether they are bundled with them or not. However, the price of the devices is known: G1 costs 18,700 yuan or about $ 2,863, and G2 – 19,700 yuan or about $ 3016. As the newspaper reports, the first batch of new miners will be only 500 units.
Earlier, Bitmain attracted $ 50 million of venture investments, and also announced plans to diversify the business of manufacturing chips for the sphere of artificial intelligence.
