Financial guru Jim Cramer calls Amazon the “Death Star” since it destroys bricks and mortar retail businesses seemingly every week.  With more and more people buying only online it doesn’t take much to switch purchasing from the street to the web. So one would expect that FDA action against convenience stores selling vaping flavors would drive online sales.

In my ongoing surveying of vaping activity, under 25s now exclusively buy online. When I first surveyed folks in UK (London) and US (DC and Philadelphia), about 85% bought online, but now not a single person of the 35 under-25s spoken to who vapes bought anywhere but online.

Rules trying to prevent under-age people buying online are easily bypassed. All the FDA action against convenience stores selling such products has done (even before it is actually enacted) is harm those convenience stores.
